Forest County is charting a bold new course for our community's future. Through a year-long collaborative planning process, residents, business owners, educators, and local leaders came together to create a comprehensive Economic Diversification Plan that puts our community's vision into action.
This grassroots effort identified five key pathways to strengthen our region: building local capacity for sustained change, revitalizing our historic downtowns, developing quality housing and infrastructure, expanding outdoor recreation and tourism opportunities, and aligning workforce training with real needs.
